It's a given that there will be only one more set to buy after this one to have the complete series, since the CW adventure's final year is about to begin.
Clark Kent's ( Tom Welling) relationship with Lois Lane (Erica Durance) deepens, though each feels tentative about acting on their growing feelings. Meanwhile, there are villains to deal with, not to mention such questionable allies as the Green Arrow ( Justin Hartley). Allison Mack continues as Chloe Sullivan.

Sophia Bush goes Gaga for 'One Tree Hill,' remains dedicated to the Gulf
Date added: 9/09/2010
"One Tree Hill's" Sophia Bush is training to run a half marathon -- and it hasn't been easy. "I've got the most god-awful, painful shin splints," she tells us. "They got bad enough that I realized this means no running... and no walking, either."
Bush - who still struggles with an old knee injury, not to mention asthma - was never an avid runner, but she set the half-marathon goal for herself in order to raise funds for Global Green's effort to rebuild the gulf coast after the oil spill.
Her fellow CW star, "Supernatural's" Misha Collins, has proven the formula successful; this week he ran 52 miles (83 km) in one day and raised over $67,000 dollars for orphanages in Haiti and victims of the Pakistan flooding. That number is still climbing as pledgers pony up their promised donations.
Bush will run in November, but she and boyfriend/co-star Austin Nichols have raised over $11,800 - so it looks like those painful legs are already paying off.

Kim Cattrall couldn`t fit into Sex and the City outfits
Date added: 9/06/2010
Kim Cattrall could not wear a lot of the clothes provided on the Sex and the City set because she is 'not a sample size'.
The 54 year-old told Vogue.com: 'I'm not a sample size like Sarah [Jessica Parker] and Kristin [Davis]. I couldn't wear a lot of the clothes the young designers would send us. I'd wear a lot of vintage - some of things I wore were like pieces of art.'
But Cattrall wasn't envious of the other actresses' clothes: 'I was never into any of Charlotte's sweet dresses or Sarah's outfits - there were a few pieces of Sarah's that I liked on their own but not the outfits as such.'
Cattrall is up for a third Sex and the City film but said it isn't up to her to decide whether it will get the go-ahead.
She added: 'It's something that will be decided by a big CEO working out budgets, but I'd love to do it again.'

'Bones,' 'Jersey Shore,' 'Rubicon' and more marathons
Date added: 9/05/2010
This year's Labor Day weekend TV marathons offer a smorgasbord of culture. There are current scripted dramas, lifestyles shows, reality docs, vintage sitcoms and more New Jersey-related programming you could ask for -- all in gluttonous, day-long blocks.
18 hours is no easy commitment, but that's how much "Who's the Boss?" Hallmark Channel plans to throw at viewers, starting at 6 a.m. ET. (Set your alarms!) Watch Jonathan's eight-season transformation from darling scamp to awkward man-child condensed into just one day.
Another network not shying away from an entire day devoted to one show is the Travel Channel. They're testing viewers tolerance for exotic foods and unchecked egos with 18 episodes of "Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations." Live vicariously starting at 6 a.m. ET.
His latest project, "Takers," a heist flick starring rapper T.I., Chris Brown and Matt Dillon, opened last week at No. 1. Once again, Elba plays a cerebral criminal, the head of a high-tech, high-class ring of thieves who rob banks for big bucks.
He is also back on premium cable TV, in a recurring role in Showtime's new series "The Big C," starring Laura Linney. He will play a love interest of her character, an uptight suburban homemaker who decides to let loose after learning she has terminal cancer. Last year, he was praised in England for his starring role in a new BBC cop drama, "Luther," which U.S. fans will get to see later this year on BBC America.
One morning last month, after a screening of the new movie and a nightclub after-party, Elba's aura was a bit dim. Still, he was cordial, engaging and thoughtful during a hotel-suite chat, even though he'd been doing back-to-back media interviews all morning. This is part of the job, and he is serious about his work.
Dressed simply in a black T-shirt and denims, he is tall -- 6-foot-2 and change -- lean and muscular, with dark, smoldering eyes, smooth ebony skin and full lips framed by a neatly trimmed mustache and goatee. His look is at once movie-star handsome and warmly familiar, especially to black fans who see in him the often misdefined black man. He looks like family -- a brother or cousin or a dude you grew up with -- until he starts speaking.

Important plot developments for the third season of United States of Tara.
Date added: 9/03/2010
For those not familiar with "sides," these are portions of a script used by actors trying out for a part on a show. A great deal can change about a script before it is actually shot including total rewrites. Given that new episodes of USoT won't air until early next year, it is even possible the writers could cut Noah entirely and take Marshall's story in an entirely different direction. Nonetheless, the sides for the second episode — titled "Crackerjack" — give some interesting insights into how the writers are treating Marshall.
During the first two seasons of USoT viewers watched as the very self-aware Marshall gradually came to terms with his sexuality. After first trying to make a relationship work with a girl named Courtney, he fell for Lionel, a gay teen his opposite in almost every way.
Noah is introduced in the second episode of the upcoming season when Marshall, Lionel and Noah end up working together on a class project involving making a movie.

It's a new day, a new network, and a new world for Torchwood.
Date added: 9/02/2010
Davies says this story, which "had been ticking away in my mind for a long while," had not been planned as a Torchwood story at all. "And suddenly I thought, there's a popular show, there's a great story, let's put them together...It felt like it definitely could move forward and become new again."
Though it will be newer and bigger, the tone won't change, says Davies. Barrowman's Jack will still be TV's only bi-sexual hero, character will still be stressed, and humor will still play a large part in the show's make-up.
"I sit there in the editing room saying 'Don't cut that joke! Cut the plot, cut the murder, cut the story, but don't cut the joke.'...It will always be a cheeky show."

Spy death: Spooks' life of danger, hard graft and a dash of glamour
Date added: 9/01/2010
Discretion and the principle of "need to know" govern every aspect of an intelligence officer's life.
They are allowed to reveal to their families their real job although this is a relatively recent concession. Selected close friends are also allowed to be in on the secret but only in the most generalised terms.
To the rest of the world spooks assume a false identity usually pretending to work for the Foreign Office or the Ministry of Defence.
Whatever the cover story it is well backed up. If a spook is pretending to work as a commercial attaché his or her name will appear in the Diplomatic List as just that.
There are three intelligence agencies. The first, MI6 or the Secret Intelligence Service, deals with acquiring intelligence abroad.
Usually, they operate from "stations" inside British embassies - speaking their own jargon. The senior spook is Head of Station or H. Sir John Scarlett, who was at the centre of the controversies over the Iraq dossiers was famously "H Moscow", smuggling a top defector out of Russia in the boot of an embassy car under the very noses of the very angry KGB.
After the invasion of Iraq Tony Blair promoted him to be Chief of the Secret Intelligence Service or C. Its biggest stations are now in Islamabad and Kabul, where conditions are tough. Elsewhere the James Bond lifestyle is still maintained.

Keck's Exclusives: Six Feet Under Mama on Grey's Anatomy
Date added: 08/31/2010
Frances Conroy, who played matriarch Ruth Fisher on HBO's Six Feet Under, has been cast on Grey's Anatomy in a role that sounds perfectly suited for this Golden Globe winner's dramatic and comedic talents. Frances will guest star as a patient named Eleanor who blacks out. But that's not the fun part. Grey's creator Shonda Rhimes tells me Eleanor claims she blacked out right around the time she raced into a Laundromat and caught her naughty husband folding another woman's panties. Don't you just hate when that happens?
Grey's Anatomy: Ryan Devlin returning to Seattle Grace
"Whether or not she really blacked out is an issue," says Rhimes. Hmm... Might Frances' vindictive character have sent her husband six feet under? That'll be for Detectives Grey and Yang to investigate. Apparently all those Cagney & Lacey reruns I've been watching have gotten the best of my imagination.
